Final Relief Piece- Jellyflower
Doing my final relief piece, I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone, and I was surprised that I was able to succeed in creating this piece. I was able to practice and improve upon my clay skills, and therefore I feel much more confident. I also tried a new medium when I painted my piece- I used watercolors. I loved the way the colors flowed together, and the piece I was able to create with them. I think that this piece is successful in terms of being well thought out, and using a variety of vibrant colors to bring it to life. However, if I could do this piece again, I would consider melting glass around the crevices surrounding the jellyflowers, to make them pop out.
